I want to warn anyone than might consider doing business with the owner Chase, of Custom Exterior Solutions (CES). This man is dishonest and should not be trusted. I originally awarded Chase on his bid to repair my Pergola, and he was given $2000 to purchase materials. My problems with him began when I asked him to file the proper city permits. He began avoided my calls, emails and txts and is now completely unresponsive. I have always been a supporter of the small businessman, but my faith and trust has been eroded by attempting to do business with CES . However talented Chase may be with woodworking, don't let that fool you. His ability to serve and respect his customers and his word is atrocious.

This was a good experience. After meeting with Chase and working through a few variations for an outdoor back porch cover we came up with a great solution. In that process I recognized that Chase "knows his stuff", has realistic suggestions and is patient. His team is hard working, efficient and polite. I would recommend him to any of my friends without reservation.

Talking with the owner, Chase, is very easy and he communicates every step clearly. 5 stars each for professional, reliability, and cost! I couldn't be happier with the jobs he and his crew did!

We had a pergola built out back, and although there were issues (the painter’s fault), Chase (owner) did a great job communicating and fixing the problem. We love hanging out under our new pergola and would recommend CES to other people. Chase is a very honest, and forthcoming person, which is more than I can say for other companies we have used.
